Use a powerful model solution for your accounting and controlling

Accounting is a critical provider of information for management decisions and should therefore be equipped with a scalable and modular software. This software must offer a possibility to integrate other processes, e.g. procurement and must also meet the KHBV (accounting regulations for hospitals) and KHG (hospital financing act) requirements and other statutory provisions.

The FI, CO, AA (Financials, Controlling, Asset Accounting) modules from SAP/R3 provide you with the ideal equipment. What's more: Fresenius Netcare has used the standard solution as a basis for the development of a model solution for hospitals which allows further individual adjustments whenever these are required.

We provide a model accounting area and a cost controlling area, each of which represent a complete, self-contained internal and external accounting system. The cost controlling area can contain one or several accounting areas all of which use the same operative chart of accounts. A predefined chart of accounts that is fully in line with the KHBV and HGB (German Commercial Code) requirements is also available. Predefined balance sheet structures and adapted standard reports simplify the financial reporting process.

Internal accounting using the CO (controlling) module guarantees fair usage-based internal billing. The integrated profit center accounting application paves the way for more efficient management through the allocation of cost responsibility to various departments within the company.

The predefined organizational structures for asset accounting ensure that the statutory accounting regulations are, to a large extent, observed automatically. Long-term assets can, for example, be displayed in accordance with the KHBV and HGB provisions in a matter of seconds. The allocation and reversal of extraordinary items is effected automatically.

Integration into the Patient Management System and Material Management (MM) enhances the transparency of the operational workflows and eliminates redundant data.
